Oreo Crust

Oreos and I have a difficult relationship. At times I dislike them, and at times I love them. Maybe I often dislike them, because I frequently eat them when stressed? I don’t know. But I do know, that this is a delicious way of using oreos! The crust can be filled with all kinds of things (what you would normally fill in a pie, and perhaps also things you would NOT normally fill in a pie?)

You will need:

app. 25 oreos (or similar cookies)

4-5 tbsp. melted butter

Place the oreos in a blender or foodprocessor (or smash them with a hammer) and process until the oreos resemble crumbs. Add the melted butter, and press the crumbs into the bottom and up the sides of a pie plate or baking dish (whatever you are using).

IF you are using a filling that does not need baking, pre-bake the crust 6-7 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius and let it cool completely before adding your filling.

IF your filling needs to be baked, add it to the non-baked crust and bake according to the filling.

Now I just need to find the perfect peanut butter filling…
