Triple Chocolate Cookies

I love cookie monster. As a little child (back in the early 90’s) I watched Sesame Street in Mocambique, in Portuguese, and never really understood a word of it, but I remember liking Big Bird. However, I have no recollection of Cookie Monster. This has later been made up for by watching youtube videos of my very favourite monster! (or, at least, one of my two favourite monsters, Muzzy I love as well).

Everybody knows (or at least should know) that Cookie Monsters favorite cookie is Chocolate Chippie (Oooh, that me favourite!). I wonder what he would say to these triple chocolate chip cookies? Very probably, he would say “Om Nom Nom Nom” and leave me with nothing but crumbs :)

The recipe yields 10 enormous cookies, or more smaller ones.

225 g butter

150 g light brown sugar

225 g sugar

2 eggs

1 tbsp. vanilla sugar

440 g flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

50 g dark chocolate, chopped

50 g milk chocolate, chopped

50 g white chocolate, chopped

Cream butter and sugars, add the eggs and then the dry ingredients. Mix in the chocolates, and you are ready to roll! (balls of cookie dough of course).

Place the balls on a baking sheet and press down slightly. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 9-12 minutes (until golden at the edges), and eat! (or, let cool and then eat. You know, your choice and everything)
